It’s that time of year again when we’re reflecting on our top moments of 2022. Standout times, highs, lows, and, of course, our top 10 porn movies of the year. This is the best of porn for 2022, in our humble opinion.
How we chose these films
We’ve simply chosen the films we liked watching this year. Some of them are our own films, but most of them are other people’s. They span across different genres of porn, because our interests vary and change day to day. These were the movies we favorited and kept coming back to time and time again. They helped us through some long self-care sessions or were there when we wanted a quick release. This is our best porn of the year…
Our Top 10 Porn Movies of 2022
1. L’Ingrediente Principale by Isis Hockenos & Haley Myer
We chose this film for quite obvious reasons – food and sex. Performers Esmé Elliot and Andre Shakti whip up the ultimate feast in this movie. Whenever we’ve been daydreaming about an Italian escape, this is the film we’ve returned to. Plus, it packs more steamy action into its 5-minute runtime than most of the other films we’ve seen this year so it’s perfect for when you’re short on time.
It was the winner of the Best Sex award at the HUMP! Film Festival 2022 and we can totally see why. Do yourself a favor, clear the next 5-minutes of your schedule and prepare to salivate.
2. The Key Party by ForPlay Films
We love a period drama, even more so when it’s a porn film and so we had high expectations for this movie set in the 1970s. Well, it didn’t disappoint.
Using the popular notion of a 70s “key party” – where couples would leave their keys in a bowl at the start of the night and then engage in partner swapping by going home with whoever picked out their keys – but with a queer twist. These folks show just how fun it can be to switch things up from time to time. Join them in tasting something new at this casual, queer swingers party.
3. Hey babe, let’s make a porno by Siri Dahl
We’re big Siri Dahl fans so we knew we had to get something with her on this list, and this film – self shot with her partner Liam Lorde – was a clear winner. The pair went on vacation and made it their goal to have sex on every piece of furniture in the hotel room. In this film, that is both hot and silly, the pair show just what it takes to make a self-shot porno.
4. Tell Me by afterglow
OK we know it might be cheating to put our own movies on this list but we can’t get enough of our new series Tell Me starring performers Shreddz and Jessica Starling. The three-part series follows the pair over one weekend from meeting on Friday night to parting ways on Monday morning. A weekend in bed getting to know each other, playing video games and having sex – this is a realistic portrayal of meeting someone for the first time. The performers, director Anna Lee and crew did such a great job with this we thought it was only right that this made our top 10.
5. Romi y Sami by altPorn4U
We love a fantasy movie and this movie starring Cecile Pleasure and Nefe Queen ticks all the boxes. Sami is a piano student that takes lessons with Romi, a demanding and strict teacher. While taking her class Sami’s imagination wanders away from the lesson and starts fantasizing about her teacher. It brought back some serious teacher fantasy memories and had us enrolling in piano lessons all at once.
6. Roomies by Noel Alejandro
Whenever we’ve daydreamed about a European holiday and a summer fling this year, we’ve watched Roomies by Noel Alejandro. Shot in Barcelona by the brilliant indie filmmaker Noel Alejandro, performers Josh Milk and Johan J show what happens when you share a small apartment with someone you fancy. There can’t have been a hotter place in Spain than in that Barcelona bedroom.
7. How to Hook Up by afterglow
At some points in this year we’ve wanted to learn and get turned on, and in those cases we’ve turned to How to Hook Up. Starring Mickey Mod and Vanessa Vega this afterglow eduporn is insanely hot whilst being educational.
We got some great advice for our hookups and the pair’s communication whilst having sex inspired us to get more vocal and ask for what we want. This is the type of sex education we needed.
8. Bacchant Ethos by EdiyPorn
This film was the inspiration for our self-care routines this year. Based on the Bacchanalia – Roman festivals of the god of wine, freedom, intoxication and ecstasy – performer Sue Nhamandu treats herself to a feast of food and pleasure, under the sun, and in front of a mirror so she can admire her beauty.
