Biography
Amber Mallery is a Certified Sexuality Educator through the American Association of Sex Educators, Counselors, and Therapists (AASECT) and the Institute for Sexuality Education and Enlightenment (ISEE), and holds a Master’s in Public Health from the University of Barcelona with a focus on global health perspectives and sexual equity (Woodhull Freedom Foundation).
Best known for their TEDx talk “Can pornography be a part of sex education?” presented at TEDxGeneva in 2022, Amber explores how ethical pornography can combat stigma and serve as a vital component of comprehensive sex education (TED). Her groundbreaking research on ethical and equitable pornography, now the foundation of their PhD studies in Human Sexuality, has been showcased in academic manuscripts and at conferences across Europe and North America (The Sassy Show).
Amber has collaborated with leading industry brands and organizations, including Bijoux Indiscrets, Desire Cruises, the WAX app, and Killing Kittens, to design and facilitate inclusive workshops and content that empower communities worldwide. She’s also a sought-after speaker and podcast guest, appearing on platforms like In Bed with Alexa, The Happy Vagina Podcast, and The Sassy Show to discuss strategies for fostering sex-positive spaces and effective communication around pleasure (The Sassy Show, In Bed with Alexa, Happy Vagina Podcast).
